The hardware is in! Fireforge recently snagged medal wins at the 10th Annual New York International Beer Competition Awards. John Hopcock NEIPA received Bronze in the American IPA category. Tampanian Devil received Silver in the Belgian-style tripel category. And, to boot, Fireforge was named South Carolina Belgian Style Brewery of the Year!
Open to all commercial beer producers around the world, this year’s competition had 800+ entries from over 14 countries competing in nearly 40 categories. NYIBC is a unique competition in that it’s judged by top beer buyers and trade professionals. Beverages are evaluated based on category and price point. It’s a true blind taste test, so no producers are allowed to attend the competition.
