Part-Time Kitchen Prep Assistant: This individual contributes to food preparation two days/week between 9 a.m.- 3:30 p.m. They work directly under our Kitchen Manager and are responsible for food preparation, organization and ensuring food safety. Enthusiasm, integrity, reliability, patience, logical thinking, basic math skills and process orientation are key attributes for success in this role.

Starting Pay: $12-15/hour based on experience

Requirements:

  1. Minimum 1 year culinary experience, including food preparation
  2. Must be able to lift 60 pounds and stand for an extended period of time

Part-Time Kitchen Prep Assistant & Line Cook: This is a 20+ hour/week hybrid role, which includes tip out for line cooking shifts during open taproom hours. This individual will contribute to food preparation two days/week during the day between 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m., and provide line cooking on weekend days and/or evenings.

This person works directly under our Kitchen Manager. The prep assistant and line cook is responsible for food preparation, organization and ensuring food safety. Enthusiasm, integrity, reliability, patience, strategic and logical thinking, basic math skills and process orientation are key attributes for success in this role.

Starting Pay:

  1. Food Prep: $12-15/hour based on experience
  2. Line Cooking: $7.25/hour plus tip out (Tip out hourly range typically between $14-$23/hr depending on taproom sales.)

Requirements:

  1. Minimum 1 year culinary experience, including food preparation and customer service
  2. Food Handler safety certification preferred (will complete during training, if needed.) 
  3. High School diploma or equivalent preferred (yet still apply if interested in this position!) 
  4. Must be able to lift 60 pounds and work standing for an extended period of time
  5. Ability to work weeknights and weekends is required, hours and schedule are flexible
  6. Willingness to cross-train. All team members will become familiar with tasting room operations and kitchen functions.
